Looking for an apartment i searched for where the university is un Ulaanbaatar and saw "Peace Avenue". Peace is what the whole world is striving for these days. But, what is peace? Its an insanely simple question but just from asking my family what they think peace is, it would seem that everyones peace is defined differently. I have been questioning peace since i was in primary school and now i feel i have the confidence and some of the life experience to research it a little more. Seeing "Peace Avenue" on the city map of the place i will do my Phoenix bursary, it seems like the right time.
In this edition of the Holdfast Collectives Zine i have submitted the question on a page, "What is peace?" written in my own handwriting, on the opposite page asking readers to send back their interpretation of peace. written or drawn or in any which way they feel appropriate. I am looking forward to seeing what i get back.
